📌 Chokepoint… A Week of Reckoning!
International Factors: We must continue to keep a close watch on negotiations in the Middle East. Over the past weekend, U.S. President Donald Trump signaled a positive outlook regarding talks with Iran. Furthermore, the U.S. announced a 10-day extension for potential strikes on Iranian energy targets, pushing the deadline to Monday, April 6, 2026, at approximately 8:00 PM (EST).
Market Outlook: We estimate the SET Index range for this week at 1,410–1,465 points. The key issue remains the Middle East conflict and the counter-proposals being exchanged. If the situation is prolonged, it is expected to drive up inflation while slowing economic growth, reflecting an increasing shift toward stagflation. This is a negative factor for risky assets; however, we await further economic recovery measures.
Additionally, keep an eye on progress regarding the formation of the new Cabinet. In the short term, the SET is expected to remain volatile. Our strategy is to "buy on dips" rather than chasing prices, viewing market corrections as an opportunity for gradual accumulation.
